Celery sticks with pepper Boursin

My husband loves cream cheese & celery sticks. I was preparing a dinner party and celery sticks were one of his requests. To be honest, I am not a huge fan and thought to give this oldie an upgrade, replacing the cream cheese with pepper Boursin. Apparently, it worked! I made a big tray. Husband and friends devoured it in no time. This is the recipe.

CELERY STICKS WITH PEPPER BOURSIN

Serves 4-6

What do you need?

• 4 celery sticks
• 1 pepper Boursin (alternatively blend 200 gram cream cheese, 1 tbsp. ground black pepper and 1 pinch of salt )
• 6 cherry tomatoes

How?

Wash the celery sticks, remove both ends.
Cut the sticks into parts of 6-7 cm.
Place the sticks one by one, straight up and cut off a strip of their back. This to prevent them from tipping over when you place them flat on a tray.
With a knife, spread the Boursin into the hollow part of the celery.
Slice the tomatoes. Place one slice on top of each celery stick.
Enjoy!

  1. Hi Magali It is so lovely getting your emails. It’s your birthday soon! How are you both? I have been thinking of you lots lately. Greg and Marg came to spend the weekend with us on the coast. It was really lovely seeing them. We have Hamilton Island race week coming up soon. We are going to race in it. I can’t wait! It is going to be a lot of fun. We have friends coming to spend time with us over the ten days.
