No Fuss Gourmet: Fondant of Camembert on the BBQ

I was visiting friends in Belgium. This was their favorite BBQ recipe.
Easy comfort food.
I immediately thought what a great boat recipe this would be.
And yes, on Bluewaft it has been added to the menu!
A fast dish for when the weather is not so great, you don’t want to spend much time in the galley.
You can serve it as lunch, nibbles or even as dessert, so French!

What do you need?

• 1 full round of Camembert in wooden package. (take 100 gram/person)
• Aluminum foil
• Some berry jam to serve with (optional)
• Fresh baguette

Heat the BBQ.
Throw away the plastic and paper wrapping of the cheese.
Place the round of cheese into its wooden box. The wood will add flavor to your cheese and will keep the crust intact.
Wrap the box in aluminum foil.

Place on the BBQ for 15 minutes. (you can also use your oven on 180DC)
Check if the inside of the cheese has become runny, by touching the crust, you should be able to push it down very easily. If not give it another 5 minutes.

Take away from the heat, take the wooden lid away, but leave the bottom one on.
Cut the top crust of the cheese away to open it.

Dip the bread in the cheese.(you can also eat the crust)
If you serve this after dinner, serve with any kind of berry jam on the side, for a sweet touch.

PS: don’t forget the wine!

Bon appetit!
