The Yalumba brunch on Fridays at the Meridien (near the airport) is one not to miss!
The Champagne is served in an extremely generous way and is Bollinger!
They present a beautiful cold buffet; oysters, lobster, crab, sushi and a beautiful selection of cured meats, even pork and cheeses.
The hot buffet offers beef fillet, lamb, warm ham, gratin Dauphinois, a huge melted Camembert and a good selection in Asian food, such as dim sum and the popular curries.
The dessert buffet is also taken care of. The ice creams are lovely. But definitely don’t miss the chocolate fountain with raspberry macaroons!
Next to all of this there is a whole menu ‘a la carte’ with lobster Thermidor, scallops, beef carpaccio, eggs Benedicte and much more. The service was speedy and attentive.
We were celebrating a couple of birthdays. Even after having all that food, the cake was still delicious!
On top of the lovely food, there is a fun party ambiance with cheery music. The acoustics are better than most other brunches in Dubai, where it just gets noisy and you struggle hearing the music or each other.
The price is 500 AED (100 Euro) per person. Champagne included. Be aware, the is NO non-alcoholic option!
